This Privacy & Cookie Policy (“Policy”) outlines Stichting Run Her Way’s (the “Organization”/“we”/“us”) practices with respect to information we may collect, store, use and share from users who access our website runherway.org and other sites we own and operate, including its subdomains (“Website”/“Site”), or otherwise share personal information with us.

By visiting our Site, contacting us and/or engaging with our services, you agree to be bound by this Policy, including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. Information We Collect

We collect two types of data and information from Users:

  1. Non-personal information is unidentified and non-identifiable information pertaining to a User, which may be made available or gathered via your use of the Site. We are not aware of the identity of a User from which the non-personal information was collected.

    Non-personal information which is being collected may include your aggregated usage information and technical information transmitted by your device, including certain software and hardware information (e.g. the type and version of browser, the operating system your device uses, language preferences, access time, etc.) in order to enhance the functionality of our Site.     • Data that is necessary for the processing of donations (in addition to the aforementioned personal data, billing information, bank account number or payment card information, and transaction details);

    • Demographics, such as your age or gender;

    • Information to check and verify User’s identity, e.g. date of birth;

    • Device information, including geolocation data, Internet Protocol (IP) address, unique identifiers (e.g. MAC address and UUID) and other information which relates to your activity through the Site and which can identify you.

User-Generated Content

We consider “user-generated content” to be reviews, ratings, images, audio and video materials voluntarily supplied to us by Users for the purpose of publication on our Site or re-publishing on our social media channels. All user-generated content is associated with the account or email address used to submit the materials.

Squarespace:

Our Organization operates through the platform provided by Squarespace, including their tools which enable the smooth processing of donations, event registrations, and other transactions. As such, our operation comes under the influence of Squarespace Privacy Policy and Squarespace Cookie Policy.

Google Analytics and Google Search Console:

We endeavor to continuously enhance our online service to ensure a seamless experience for our supporters. To achieve this, we incorporate Google Analytics and Google Search Console. These tools aid us in understanding user behavior, trends and other insights which in turn help us improve our services and outreach efforts. Information collected by these tools is solely for analytical purposes and is handled according to Google Privacy Policy.

MailChimp:

To keep our supporters updated with the latest news, events, and initiatives, we employ MailChimp for our email communications. When subscribing to our newsletter, the email provided will be stored in the MailChimp database. Where Your Personal Data Is Held

You personal data may be held at our offices, in our emails, on our secure CRM systems and on our cloud accounts as well at our partners, affiliates, third party agencies, service providers, representatives and agents as described in this Policy. Some of these third parties may be based outside the EEA.

The personal information we collect is stored and/or processed in the Netherlands or where we or our partners, affiliates, third party agencies, service providers, representatives and agents maintain facilities.

The countries to which we store, process or transfer your personal data may not have the same data protection laws as the country in which you initially provided the information. If we transfer your personal data to third parties in other countries: (i) we will perform those transfers in accordance with the requirements of applicable law; and (ii) we will protect the transferred personal data in accordance with this Policy.

How Long We Keep Your Personal Data

We keep your personal data only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it is used. This time period may depend on what we are using your information for, in accordance with this Policy (e.g. if you have provided us with personal information as part of creating an account with us we may retain this information for the duration your account exists on our systems).

If your personal information is no longer required for the purpose for which it is used we will delete it or make it anonymous by removing all details that identify you.

However, if necessary, we may retain your personal information for our compliance with a legal, accounting and/or reporting obligation or for archiving purposes in the public interest, scientific or historical research purposes or statistical purposes.
